The phrase "Being invincible under the sun" attributed to Musashi Miyamoto who lived in 1584 Japan, serves as a metaphor reflecting his relentless pursuit of physical strength, rooted in a tumultuous childhood marked by war and an abusive father. Driven by a deep-seated fear of isolation, Musashi dedicates his life on making a name for himself as the strongest samurai and thus becoming “Invincible under the sun”.

Did you actually know that in Japan itself you can rent a boyfriend or a girlfriend? I didn’t know this until last year when I came across a video on YouTube where I could see a man renting a man as his boyfriend for a day. My curiosity let me hunt down some information and other videos if it was actually real because it isn’t legal nor does exist in the West. Surprisingly it is in fact a real thing and widely accepted in Japan.

My motivation

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime released in 2022 and based on the video game Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. The video game came out in late 2020, but on release was rather disappointing for most players, because of the amount of bugs the game suffered.
